Exhibition Night - FMP Display

Photographs from my college exhibition display.

Final Major Project - Poster Designs

To work alongside the four postcards I produced, I designed four posters in the same style.
3 x A3 // 1 x A2
Each poster was printed onto a gloss finish paper and mounted onto foam board for display.

Llyods Bar - poster 1

Modo Bar - poster 2

Met Quarter - poster 3

The poster below is the A2 sized poster.
Some of the imagery isn't as noticable as others, I had chosen Modo for example for it's architectural design.

Radio City & Playhouse Thetre - poster 4

The photographs I took were edited into Photoshop and I applied 'Live Trace' on Illustrator.
The background consists of scanned in graph paper for texture and colour.
The pattern was hand-drawn to show life and liveliness into the buildings, colour was added using Photoshop.
I used Illustrator also for the text to give a clean, crisp look.

Final Major Project - Postcard Designs

As part of my FMP - "Live in the Pool" I designed and manufactured four A5 postcards that were mounted onto hardboard as part of my display.

Each postcard has a front design with an famous building in the city, and a selection of quotes from members of the public of their views on the city.

City Brief : Promotional Posters

Inspired by Leon Kossof, I created some promotional posters to advertise the city of Liverpool during its' Capital of Culture year.
I used black biro with a collaged background of a newspaper article based on Liverpool's win of the award.
Photoshop enabled me to add layers to introduce colour and keep as part of a theme / collection of work.

Journey to College - 1 day brief

I decided to illustrate my journey to college using Photoshop to aid me.
I photographed various points in my journey and used a combination of colour and the original image to create a varied image.
